Creative Director/Senior Programmer (September 2001 - Present)

  • I design and implement the creative vision for web sites, cd-roms, and various presentations.
  • I work with the client to develop the Information Architecture for their web site, delivering flowcharts and wireframes prior to beginning the design and build.
  • I create e-mail bursts, on-line advertising banners and landing pages (using Flash or Photoshop as needed) to support my clients’ brand and sales initiatives.
  • As a Flash developer, programmer, and designer, I create various animations,  video, interfaces, and dynamic applications for my  clients. I have excellent Actionscript skills.
  • As a programmer, I actualize my clients'  creative visions with unique attention to their needs using HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, and Javascript. My goal is always to support my clients' product with programming that is clean, quick and visually striking.
  • As part of a whole product solution, I create logos, business cards, stationery, posters, and advertising banners for the web.
  • I create illustrations and spot artwork wherever necessary to support the products I produce.

  • As creative director I facilitated the development of brand identities for clients
  • I guided the vision for the creative team. I oversaw graphic designers and visual artists in developing creative solutions across all company projects.
  • I art directed and designed web sites, cd-roms, kiosks and printed material. Both my web sites and other multimedia projects have won awards, among them the 2000 Webby for best political web site, the 2000 Invision award for the same site, and a 1999 Apex award for best Creative Direction on a kiosk.
  • I presented creative, and was responsible for resource allocation. I defined roles and responsibilities.
  • I mentored designers by both meeting with them one-on-one to establish individual and team goals and by teaching software when needed. I participated in employee reviews.
  • I also recruited new talent, developed and maintained a freelance database of designers and was responsible for new hire integration.
  • I was the head Flash developer.
  • I instituted and lead a Flash tutoring program at the company.
  • I oversaw the compression and implementation of video and audio.
